Toulouse, France, 29 November 2024 – Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, has marked a significant milestone with the delivery of its first A330neo. This state-of-the-art aircraft, an A330-900, is the first of 20 leased from Avolon, poised to enhance fuel efficiency and elevate the passenger experience.

The newly delivered A330neo features a premium two-class layout, accommodating 297 passengers. The aircraft boasts 28 fully-flat Business Class suites and an all-new Economy cabin for 269 passengers. Passengers can look forward to more personal space, larger overhead storage, improved air quality, and the latest in-flight entertainment and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity.
Expanding Horizons
Malaysia Airlines plans to deploy the A330neo on routes across Asia and the Pacific, as well as select routes to the Middle East. This strategic move aims to provide a superior flying experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
